I just quited my job and I'm so happy about it.
I used to work in a public institution, organizing book fairs was our deal. It's pretty cool, you get to meet lots of nice and interesting people and you are constantly surrounded by those magical objects: books. I made good friends. But for me it was murder, I had to be locked up in an office, designing nonstop, but without any chance to get creative. Esthetic, comunication and design criteria were nonexistent. We did everything wrong. Everytime I tried to improve things, to propose, to do things diferent, better, I got attention calls. I had to do miracles with the equipment I was given. And there were a lot of bureaucreacy, envy, gossip, and above all, mediocricy. Oh, and the pay was so poor. So at the first chance I had I quited for a better oportunity which promises to demand from me much more creativity and effort. Im a thinking and proactive person, this is for me. I'm so excited, can't wait to start! Oh, and the pay is so much better.
So, my advice is this one, if you're not satisfied with what you are doing,
QUIT YOUR JOB!
